Invoice Management:
Prepare, generate, and distribute accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and company policies.
Payment Processing:
Record customer payments promptly and accurately; apply payments to appropriate accounts and invoices.
Collections:
Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and communicate with customers to resolve billing issues.
Account Reconciliation:
Reconcile customer accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Customer Support:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, statements, and account balances; provide excellent and professional service.
Reporting:
Prepare AR aging reports, cash receipt summaries, and other financial reports as needed.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and support implementation of improvements.
Compliance:
Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards; assist with audits as needed.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
1-3+ years of experience in accounts receivable
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
